To be able to consult the services of the State Tax Administration Agency (AEAT) of Via Oberta, each organization must request a medium-level electronic seal assigned exclusively for use of the services of AOC. When this is about to expire, the following steps must be followed to renew it:
1. Request seal renewal
You will have to access EACAT and request an electronic seal from AOC by indicating the option “ Exclusively assigned for use of AOC services ” in the “use of the certificate” section of the request.
As this is a stamp assigned to AOC, reception and download will be our responsibility.
2. Download the seal's public key
Once the AOC has downloaded the seal, the responsible person will receive an email with confirmation and they will be able to download the public key of the certificate from the subscriber folder to provide it to the AEAT.
3. Send documentation to the AEAT
Depending on the information your organization needs to consult, you will have to choose between:
- Tax purposes form (all those purposes that involve tax management)*
- Non-tax purposes form ( all public procurement purposes; authorizations, licenses, permits and approvals; grants, scholarships and subsidies; benefits, human resources, sanctions, etc.)*
*Whether the purpose is tax-related or not is indicative and it is your organization that must determine which of its own procedures it considers tax-related and which are not.
3.1 Tax purposes
Follow the steps below to process the form for tax purposes:
- Access the provision of information for tax purposes from the AEAT
- Go to the "Forms, guides and models" section and download the electronic certificate replacement form (web services)
- Go to "Managements" and access the procedure " Presentation of authorization forms in standardized supplies"
- Identified with your preferred method
- On the first screen that appears, attached as a file is the electronic certificate replacement form (web services) and the public key of the seal assigned exclusively for use with the AOC services (.cer or .crt extension and compressed in a .zip file).
- Submit the procedure
3.2 Non-tax purposes
Follow the steps below to process the form for non-tax purposes:
- Access the provision of information for non-tax purposes from the AEAT
- Go to the "Forms, guides and models" section and download the electronic certificate replacement form (web services)
- Go to "Managements" and access the procedure " Presentation of authorization forms in standardized supplies"
- Identified with your preferred method
- On the first screen that appears, attached as a file is the electronic certificate replacement form (web services) and the public key of the seal assigned exclusively for use with the AOC services (.cer or .crt extension and compressed in a .zip file).
- Submit the procedure
4. Send confirmation of authorization to AOC
Once the AEAT responds, you must open a support request by attaching the following:
- The confirmation email from the AEAT authorizing the new certificate (in PDF format)
- The electronic certificate replacement form (web services) that you sent to the AEAT.
Considerations to keep in mind:
- We recommend that you notify us of the renewal of the certificate at least 15 days in advance (you can consult the “ General Conditions for the Provision of Services ” of the AOC).
- The AOC uploads new certificates on Wednesdays.
